Scientific Supervisor

Dr Jacques Forest

Psychologist and Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP), is a full professor at the Organization and Human Resources Department of the UQAM. He is one of the authors of the Multidimensional Work Motivation Scale, a research and intervention tool available in 22 languages. His research and interventions use Self-Determination Theory in order to know how it is possible to simultaneously increase well-being and performance in a sustainable fashion. 

Team Member

Florence Jauvin

Holds a B.A. in Psychology, Honours Program, from Concordia University. She is currently a doctoral student in psychology (Ph.D., Psy.D.) at the Université du Québec à Montréal under the supervision of Professor Jacques Forest. She specializes in work and organizational psychology. Her doctoral thesis is rooted in the theory of self-determination. More specifically, she aims to examine the association between need satisfaction and heart rate variability, a physiological and objective measure, and to study how supportive leadership of needs promotes both psychological and physiological well-being. Florence also works as a research assistant on studies involving concepts such as performance, motivation, the functional significance of financial compensation, leadership, creativity, and proactive behaviors. With a desire to facilitate the implementation of scientific discoveries in the workplace and in the field of sports, she is also involved in Sciences 101, a non-profit organization that promotes the popularization of science

Team Member

Marc-Antoine Gradito Dubord

is a Ph.D. candidate in organizational psychology at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and lecturer in organizational behavior at HEC Montréal. His research focuses on strength-based interventions in organizations that improve employees’ optimal functioning. He also conducts quasi-experimental interventions based on mobile technology (e.g., smartphone apps) to improve well-being, pro-social behaviors, and motivation in the workplace. He’s currently studying the scientifical benefits of two mobile platforms on team processes and creativity in several European countries (e.g., Greece, France, Sweden, etc.).
